\(Xlo\) element length
\(Mlo\) linear mass
\(DiamH\) Hydraulic diameter
\(Cd\) normal drag coefficient
\(Cm\) normal inertia coefficient
\(Cdl\) tangent drag coefficient
\(Cml\) tangent inertia coefficient
\(EA_s\) axial stiffness for static analysis (istep 0)
\(EA_{QS}\) axial stiffness for quasi-static analysis (istep > 0)
\(EA_{dyn}\) dynamic axial stiffness
\(BKL\) breaking load
\(Kr_{inf}\) see note. Default value=21
\(ML_{lim}\) see note. Default value=10
\(Coef_{kr}\) see note. Default value=14/40

Note

If \(EA_{dyn} = 0\), the breaking load must be given. The dynamic axial stiffness will then be automatically evaluated as following :

\(T_{mean}\) is the mean load at the end of the quasi-static calculations

\(ML = 100*T_{mean}/BKL\)

then EAd = KrBKL*
