Displaying code check ratios

Once your code check study has been completed, the results can be viewed in the 3D view with modified colors.

Activate the results display

To activate the results display, please follow these steps:

  • Select the Display CC ratios from a CSV Result File item in the contextual menu of a code check study.

  • The following dialog box will open: the last created results file in CSV format is proposed. Click on the browse button (here framed in red) to select another CSV results file from which you want to display the ratios. Validate with the OK button.

Note that any code check results file in CSV format can be loaded, creating from either:

    • an interactive or batch computation over all analyses,
    • a batch computation by analysis,
    • a merge of the results files obtained from batch computations by analysis.
  • The following panel opens, and the global max ratio is displayed on the 3D view of the model. This Display code check ratios panel lists the ratios available in the CSV results file (below it is shown for a DNV-RP-C202-2010 code check computation). You can choose in the list the ratio you want to display.

The following capture of the 3D view shows the ratio values of the global max ratio on the columns, computed with the DNV-RP-C202-2010 code check.

The line segments colors are modified according to the ratio values computed in the structural code check study. 3D display is forced, lines not concerned with the code check computation are displayed in gray. Ratio values greater than 1 appear in a color range varying from red to violet.

The ratio value of a specific section (and its abscissa) can be displayed by hovering over it with the mouse: the value@abscissa is shown on the left of the color scale. (If the code check applies on tubes, the abscissa will be replaced by the segment name).

Deactivate the results display

To switch back to the original display, close the Display code check ratios dialog box.
