Graphics
The Graphics tab displays all the plots requested from the Request tab. The tab consists of several components. The upper part of the tab is the graphics area, which is used to plot the different curves. The lower part lists the available plots, and is used to select which plot is displayed in the graphics area. The number of plots depends on the type of analysis, as indicated in the available sub-tab headers : Static, Dynamic, RAO and VIV. On the right hand side of the main tab is a vertical tool bar. Each of these components is described below.
- Graphics selection sub-tabs: all the available plots are presented in tabular form. Select the tab and then the line corresponding to the plot you want to display in the graphics area. The line corresponding to the graphics currently displayed is given a blue highlight. Each plot is characterized by the following items : Type of graph, Variable name, Object, Position and Comment. The order of these lists cannot be changed.
*** Comment box**: you can use this edit box to enter/edit a comment associated with any given plot. The comment is also used as a title in the graphics area, and a default comment is created for each plot automatically . Once you have modified the comment in the edit box, the title in the graphics area is not automatically refreshed : you must de-select and then select again the associated row in the Graphics selection sheets to do so.
- Menu bar: this vertical menu bar consists in five buttons presented in the next table.
