Post-processing window
The post-processing window may be opened either from a Simulation results file (.DSS) or from a model file (.DSK). While the first option is perfectly natural, the latter allows more flexibility since you can then access any of the Simulation results files attached with the model - provided the analysis has run successfully.
This window consists in a number of tabs, with which you can define which results you want to look at, then visualize the related curves plots, and also get statistics on these curves. The four main tabs are listed below :
-
Requests: open this tab to define your results requests from the different sub-tabs.
-
Graphics: this tab contains all the graphics corresponding to your different requests. The plots are grouped depending on the type of request : quasi-static, dynamic or VIV analysis, calculation of RAOs...
-
Statistics: this tab provides a number of statistics related to the different plots available within the Graphics tab.
-
Clash Check: this tab can be used to access the post-processing forms reporting the minimum clearance between several lines. You may alternatively use the Clearance Check module that is available from the Tools menu and is able to handle series of analyses at once. The Clash Check tab is only able to derive the minimum clearance for a single analysis at once.
-
BOP study: this tab can be used to derive special outputs for flexible service lines attached to a BOP stack. This kind of outputs may only be produced with analyses featuring a BOP stack component and that are included in a BS analysis set.
