Text results files

With the "all in one" option

The Fatigue files window available in the fatigue post-processing module allows editing one of the following files:

  1. Summary file (.TXT): This file provides a summary of the maximum damage values. The file name is built as follows: fatigue_analysis_name & _Summary.txt.

  2. Global results file (.TXT): This file provides detailed fatigue damage profiles for all hot-spots along the line. The file name is built as follows: fatigue_analysis_name & _Results_Total.txt.

  3. Bins results file (.TXT): This file provides the distribution of damage among the different load cases, which allows identification of the governing environmental condition. The file name is built as follows: fatigue_analysis_name & _Results_Bins.txt.

With the "Fatigue by load cases" option

With this option, results are only provided as CSV files after the second step :

  • Fatigue_Analyis_Name_rez_concat.csv : Damage results for every load cases (probability of 100%) for all requested arc lengths (observations);

  • Fatigue_Analyis_Name_rez_weighted.csv : Damage results for every load cases times its probability for all requested arc lengths (observations);

  • Fatigue_Analyis_Name_summary.csv : Maximum damage and minimum fatigue Life for every riser/line;

  • Fatigue_Analyis_Name_summary_allpoints.csv : Maximum damage and minimum fatigue Life for all arch lengths of every riser/line.
