Fatigue post-processing
The results display is different for the "all in one" and the "Fatigue by load cases" options.
With the option "Fatigue by load cases", the philisophy is to perfom a large range of computations and no specific results are displayed by DeepLines GUI, results are provided in CSV files
"All in one" option
The fatigue post-processing module consists of three windows:
-
Requests window
This section is used to define detailed results outputs. This can be done if Save Results has been activated in the fatigue analysis, a .DTF binary file being created. In this case, the Requests window contains a sheet labelled Fatigue. Otherwise, the Requests window is empty.
Two kinds of outputs may be requested:
-
Sort the damageable sea-states at a given abscissa:
Given a abscissa, the most damageable sea-states are sorted in an ASCII file. If the number of specified sea-states is equal to 0, all the sea-states are displayed in the ASCII file.
The ASCII file can be viewed in the Fatigue file tab.
-
Damage (for all the abscissa) for a given sea-state:
Given a bin and a sea-states number (relative to the bin), the damage along all the specified abscissa is plotted in a graphic. This damage corresponds to a 100% sea-state occurrence.
The graphic is added to the Graphics tab.
-
-
Allows displaying fatigue curves.
You can select graphics you want to be displayed in the table Fatigue. It is not allowed to delete the main graphical results (the first four curve plots).
-
Fatigue files tab
Allows editing results files.
Two files are created by DeepLinesGUI when launching fatigue analysis:
-
Analysis name + Summary.txt
-
Analysis name + Results_Total.txt
the first file contains summary data of the fatigue calculation, the second file contains damage results for all the specified abscissa.
In case of a spectral fatigue analysis, a third file is created:
Analysis name + Results_Bins.txt
It contains detailed damage results for all specified abscissa and for all the bin.
