Post-processing window
The post-processing window can be opened through the Post treatment feature in the tool bar:
Clicking this icon opens a window from which you can select the analysis/set you wish to post-process. After selecting an analysis, two windows will open - one displays menus controlling all the options associated with results tables and graphs. The other window displays the .DSS file, a 3D graphic animation window and model menu tree. From the control window, Static (Step evolution or Snapshot (fixed step)) and Dynamic results (Time evolution, Snapshot (Fixed Time) or Envelop) can be extracted and plotted from the simulations. The following requests are available :
-
Position
-
Displacement
-
Velocity
-
Acceleration
-
Curvature
-
Strain
-
Stress
-
Force
-
Moment
-
Vertical Angle
-
Built-in-angle
-
Energy
-
Line gap
-
DNV Check
For each request some key statistics are extracted automatically: Min, Max, Mean, Standard deviation, Skewness and Kurtosis.
Post-processed results data can be easily exported to Excel data sheets gathering and plotting the requested data.
RAO of any available request can be performed as well as clash-checks between mooring lines or risers.
The post-processing window also includes the fatigue calculation facilities. Spectral or Rainflow fatigue calculations can be performed on risers or moorings. Regular or irregular wave simulations can be used specifying scatter diagrams, S-N or T-N Curves and fatigue parameters.
