Analysis sets
Your .DSK project file can contain the definition of any number of analyses to be run with the FE engine. The various analyses associated with your model are naturally grouped into Analysis Sets, that display in the folder in the Model browser.
The default set of analyses is labelled Default, and may contain any analysis you define.
The other Analysis sets are linked with either Environment Sets or Wave sets. The analyses contained in these sets may only differ by the environmental loadings or by the wave that was used.
Creating new analyses sets: this may be done by right clicking the folder named Analyses sets in the Model browser and further selecting New analyses set from the pop up menu that displays. This may alternatively be done from the Analysis menu bar item, or by clicking the New analyses set button from the Tool bar.
Deleting an Analyses set: in the Model browser, right click the name of the analyses set you want to delete, and select Delete from the pop up menu that displays.
Warning
The content of every individual analyses that are included in an Analyses Set is automatically reset to its default content as you generate the whole set of LOG and DSS files associated with the Analyses Set. This means that the list of components of every single analyses will be set identical to the list of components defined within the Analyses Set and that all Calculation Parameters (including convergence parameters) of every single analyses will be set identical to the Calculation Parameters defined within the Analyses Set. Individual analyses included in the Analysis Set are indeed automatically re-generated when creating the whole set of LOG and DSS files.
