Duplicating analysis sets
A Copy item in the pop-up menu associated to Analyses Sets enables duplicating any existing Analyses Set in the Model Browser to ease the definition of series of analyses.
Note
One of the advantages offered by the copy function of Analyses Sets lies in the fact that the user will not have to define anymore the Predefined Results separately for each Analyses Sets.
When pressing the Copy item from the pop-up menu of the Analysis Set, the Analysis Set is automatically duplicated and the resulting Analysis Set displays in the Model Browser.
The name of the copied Analysis Set is defined automatically, typically by adding the _N characters at the end of the original name, where N is a number depending on the previous name. For example, if the original name is AnalysisSet_1, then the name of the copy must be AnalysisSet_2, and so on.
The copied Analysis Set includes all the data from the original:
-
Selected objects to be taken into account in the analyses,
-
Wave (or Wave Set, or Environment Set) parameters associated to the Analysis Set,
-
Common Calculation Parameters, i.e. the calculation parameters that display when pressing the Edit Calculation Parameters button from the Editing Analysis Set window,
-
Common Predefined Results, i.e. the Predefined Results that display when pressing the Edit results button from the Editing Analysis Set window,
-
All individual analyses exactly as defined in the original Analysis Set.
