Analysis Sets - List of Components
The content of the List of Components tab differs depending on the type of Analysis Set that is specified in the General tab (either based on common Model Components or based on distinct model components).
Analysis Set based on common model components
In this case, the tab includes a model component data tree listing all Model Components that can be selected. Check the box located on the left hand side of each component's name to include a component in every analysis included the Analysis Set.
Note
The model component data tree includes user-specified groups of components in addition to components that are not included in any user- specified group. Selecting any group automatically selects all components included in the group.
Analysis Set based on distinct model components
In this case, the tab includes a spin box which defines the number of individual analyses to be included in the Analysis Set, together with a table listing all model components and the names of the analyses.
-
Number of analyses: The number of individual analyses must be set with the spin box located in the upper left corner of the tab. You may either use the up/down arrows to setup the number of analyses, or input any value using your keyboard.
-
Model components table: This table lists all model components available in your model and the names of the analyses. The number of rows in this table is equal to the number of analyses. The headers of the columns list the model components that can be selected. You can select which model components are to be included in which analyses by clicking the desired cells in the table to 'tick' them.
Note
The content of the model components table allows selection of multiple- cells and copy/paste of data to/from Excel using the CTRL+C and CTRL+V keys. The whole content of any table may be selected by clicking any cell in the table and further pressing the CTRL+A keys. When pasted into Excel the status of the cell (selected / not selected) is defined with (1 / 0) values. You can change the content of the table in Excel (i.e. set values to "0" or "1" and change the names of the analyses) before pasting it to the user interface.
