General data
It is possible to change the name of the object, which is advisable if there are to be many pulleys.
It is then necessary to define the location of three points in space - P1 (line end 1), P2 (line end 2) and P3 (the pulley wheel itself). These are defined via the three edit boxes per point in X, Y and Z global axes, or alternatively by selecting an attachment point on a previously defined solid object, fairlead or line node. A pulley or pulley line can also be attached to the seabed.
Note
The location of the pulley itself is not defined by the pulley wheel centre (and in fact no design output is available for pulley specification). Instead the tangent point on the pulley wheel where the cable passes is the reference point for P3. In this case it may be necessary to specify a short link or line element to position the pulley at the required point in space.
