Load-excursion link general data

These data can be defined from the top part of the Edit Load Excursion Link panel:

  • Name: Enter the name of the Load Excursion Link component.

  • End_1 & End_2: Enter the XYZ coordinates of both ends of the Load Excursion Link; Coordinates must refer to the global coordinates system. Alternatively you may select in the "State / Linked to" box the model components to which the ends are to be connected. This will set the position of your Load Excursion Link component.

  • State Linked to: Use this drop-down box to specify whether your Load Excursion Link is free, anchored or linked with another object in your model. When anchored, you must specify which type of connection shall be used. In case your Load Excursion Links is linked with another object - a floater or a buoy for instance - you must define to which connection point your object is linked (Attach point drop-down box), in addition to the type of connection.
