Drilling risers mud
The Mud sheet defines the default internal content of the line. Parameters are entered to account for the additional mass and the internal pressure.
You may define mud data applicable to the drilling riser by doing either of the following:

Select "Use internal fluid data defined in the table below": This defines internal fluid data directly in the Mud data sheet. Data to be input are similar to those of the Internal fluid type. Refer to the Internal fluid type for details on the data.

Select "Use internal fluid data defined in external property": This assigns an existing Internal fluid type to the line. In this case, a selection box allowing you to choose the Internal fluid type name from the available items is presented instead of the edit boxes and table for property values.
Note
The internal fluid type must exist before you can choose this option. If none exist, a message appears giving you the option to create one now.
Note
No input data line is created by default. Hence, the user must define at least one set of properties. No calculation can be launched if the mud definition is missing. A warning is displayed:
