Equipment properties
Each equipment component must be given a number of parameters that will be used during the calculation, as follows (the list of parameters is the same whatever the type of equipment) :

Dry weight: the mass in air (in N)

Apparent weight: weight in water (in N)

Hydraulic diameter: Overall diameter used for the calculation of the drag and added mass.

Normal and axial inertia coefficients (used in the Morison formulation)

Normal and axial drag coefficients (used in the Morison formulation)
Note
The inertia coefficient Cm is equal to Ca + 1, where Ca is the added mass coefficient.
