Ballast general parameters

These data can be defined from the top part of the Edit ballast panel.

Name: Enter the name of the Ballast component.
Position: Enter the three X,Y,Z coordinates of the ballast element geometrical center (mid- height) , expressed in the global reference frame. These will determine the position of your ballast element.
State Linked to: Use this drop-down box to specify whether your ballast element is free, anchored or linked with another object in your model. When anchored, you must specify which type of connection shall be used. In case the ballast element is linked with another object, you must define to which connection point your object is linked, in addition to the type of connection.
