Guid posts
Us this tab to define Guid posts attached to the BOP Stack component. Guide posts are four-inch-OD cylinders distant by 101 from each other around the stack. In the Guide posts tab the user can specify parameters of the guide posts:
-
Diameter (D)
-
Height (H) comparing from z=0 in the local frame of the BOP stack.
-
Distance between centres (by default 101).
-
Reference centre point defined by XY coordinates in the local frame of the BOP stack.
These guide posts are used for the visualization in the pre-processing and in the clash check calculations in the post-processing only.
Note
It is assumed that imaginary lines connecting the adjacent posts are parallel to Ox and Oy axis in the local frame of the BOP stack.
