General parameters

These data can be defined from the top part of the BOP Stack pane.

  • Name: Enter the name of the BOP Stack component.

  • Reference in global frame: Enter the three X,Y,Z coordinates of the geometrical center, expressed in the global reference frame. These coordinates will determine the position of your floater.

  • Heading/Ox: Give the heading of the BOP Stack local X-axis from the global X-axis (positive from X global to Y global).

  • Load file: You may optionally select the *.TDL text file that contains the geometry to be displayed in the 3D View window. The geometry of BOP Stack components may be explicitly defined as a meshed surface read from a simple text file. You just have to type in the address for the file or browse to locate it.
