IGR STATVAR
Status :
Optional
Purpose :
To define time-varying temperature, pressure and internal fluid weight profiles along a line (or group of elements).
Details :
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
IGR | identification number of the group of elements to which the temperature profile defined in the ASCII file will apply. The group of elements must have been previously defined with the RISER or GROUP keyword. |
STATVAR | equal to 1 to request that the temperature variation is a static variation, 0 otherwise. If a static variation is used, the file associated with the keyword gives the temperature as a function of quasi-static step instead of time steps. |
filename.dat
An ASCII file containing the temperature profile, the dynamic pressure profile and the dynamic weight variation as a function of the curvilinear abscissa in increasing order. The profile may vary in time. At each curvilinear coordinate and time, the temperature is provided. The first coordinate must be 0 and the last coordinate larger than the length of the pipe. The file format is as follows :
0 (for quasi-static) Curv_Abs_1 Temp_1 Pressure_1 Weight_1
0 (for quasi-static) Curv_Abs_2 Temp_2 Pressure_2 Weight_2
... ... ... ...
...
0 (for quasi-static) Curv_Abs_n Temp_n Pressure_n Weight_n
Time_1 Curv_Abs_1 Temp_1_1 Pressure_1_1 Weight_1_1
Time_1 Curv_Abs_2 Temp_1_2 Pressure_1_2 Weight_1_2
... ... ... ...
...
Time_1 Curv_Abs_n Temp_1_n Pressure_1_n Weight_1_n
Time_2 Curv_Abs_1 Temp_2_1 Pressure_2_1 Weight_2_1
Time_2 Curv_Abs_2 Temp_2_2 Pressure_2_2 Weight_2_2
... ... ... ...
...
Time_2 Curv_Abs_n Temp_2_n Pressure_2_n Weight_2_n
...
...
Time_m Curv_Abs_1 Temp_m_1 Pressure_m_1 Weight_m_1
Time_m Curv_Abs_2 Temp_m_2 Pressure_m_2 Weight_m_2
... ... ... ...
...
Time_m Curv_Abs_n Temp_m_n Pressure_m_n Weight_m_n
Warning
The temperature must be given in degrees C
The pressure corresponds to the additional pressure (the dynamic variation) expressed in Pa. This value may be negative.
The weight corresponds to the additional weight (the dynamic variation) expressed in N/m. This value may be negative.
