Status :

Optional

Purpose:

To define 2 node super element (6 dof by nodes). For DeepLines main algorithm, these elements only consist in 2 nodes (at most 12 degrees of freedom). However, each super element may be composed of several segments of different kinds and its behavior is solved as an independent subsystem composed of several catenarys equations without dynamic terms.

Restriction:

The nodes JO and JE must have been previously defined

Details :

Parameter	Description
NEL	identification number of the element
JO	origin node of the element
JE	end node of the element
IPRO	index in the table of mechanical and geometrical properties (previously defined by keyword *SUPERPRO)
ILOAD	index referring to a previously defined property by keyword *SUPERLOAD
XLO_DECK	Length on the deck (default = 0).
Alpha	Angle (degrees) of the vector tangent to the deck wrt the Z axis in the plane of the super element (Default Alpha= 90)
