Purpose :

To define a kinematic dependency relationship between some nodes

Restriction :

The nodes mentionned here must have been previously defined

Details :

Parameter Description
ISLAVE Identification number of the slave node
IMAST Identification number of the master node
ITYP If ityp = 2, the master node and its related slave behave altogether as a rigid body.

Note

  • 'Slave' nodes displacements entirely depend on the movement of their 'master'.

  • An example of application is the study of an anchoring systems where cables are fixed at different points of a floating structure. Each of these points are linked to a unique master node where the motion or the applied
