*SLAMMING

One line with seven parameters parameter:

INOD IGR CS AREA DT_SLAM DT_THRUST THRUSTER

Restriction:

The node INOD and group IGR must be previously defined for dynamic analysis only.

Purpose:

To add a slamming force at a specific node as the node crosses the water surface (wave included). The slamming force ia applied when the node reaches the surface based on the node velocity minus wave velocity (velocity is along the global Z-axis and must be downwards)

Details:

Parameter Description
INOD Identification number of the node
IGR Identification number of the group (to define added mass variation)
CS slamming coefficient
AREA Reference are to compute the slamming force
DT_SLAM Time from water entry to apply the force (can be shorter if the nodes goes above water or relative velocity becomes positive)
DT_THRUSTER Time to apply thruster force, must be greater than DT-SLAM
THRUSTER Thruster force (N) negative downwards
