To take into account heave-induced lateral motion (HILM) in dynamic calculations of Steel Catenary Risers (SCRs)

A link to a previously run frequency analysis must be provided through the file = (frequency database has extension .dtbf). DeepLines extracts relative velocity information from the frequency database at the requested period (P1). The excitation due to HILM is applied in the out-of plane direction (perpendicular to direction defined by P2).
