Data format:
An arbitrary number of lines comprising 4 values.
IGR1 IGR2 NB ARCBEG
Status :
Optional
Purpose :
To request a specific output on friction forces during contact
Restriction :
A contact between both groups IGR1 and IGR2 must have been previously defined.
Details :
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
IGR1 | First Group of elements to defined the contact |
IGR2 | Second group of elements |
NB | Number of Abscissa to monitor |
ARCBEG | Initial position along the line to monitor |
Note
If the contact is line/surface, the length along the line refers to the line group. For line to line contact, this refers to the first group (IGR1)
At each output step, the contact elements store the position of the element along the reference line or group. All contact elements are then checked to find the first NB contact elements which postion is above ARCBEG (ARCBEG being the distance or arc length along the line from the line beginning). Files 'Diag_WearFrot_0001.txt' are then updated (0001 : contact number). The files contains 1+3*NB columns. The first column is the time, followed by 3 columns per position providing the contact force, the lateral friction displacement, the axial friction displacement. The stored displacement is the summation of absolute value of the displacement. It is the irreversible displacement.
