The generator node and a turbine must be previously defined. For dynamic analyses only.

Purpose :

To define an electric generator

Details :

Parameter Description
INOD Node of the low shaft linked to the drive train.
ITYP type of control :
0 force
ID Identification numer of the Wind Turbine component.
INOREAC Point where the reaction moment (opposite of the imposed moment) is applied
GBRATIO Ratio of the GEARBOX (winput/woutput), 1 if no gearbox
GBEFF Gearbox efficiency, 1 if no gearbox. If the efficiency is less or equal 0 or strictly greater than 1, it is considered that the gearbox efficiency is function of the velocity. The efficiency is then defined by a predefined table (*TABLEMCOL) which number is defined by IEFF
STIFF Rotational stiffness of Gearbox + HSS : This is not used and should be defined (added) to the shaft properties.
DAMP Rotational damping of Gearbox +HSS : This is not used and should be defined (added) to the shaft properties.
POWER Generator power (W)
MTRL Maximum torque rate limit (N.m.s-1)
MINGT Minimum generator torque (N.m)
MAXGT Maximum generator torque (N.m)
EFF Generator efficiency
IEFF If GBEFF is less than 0, the gearbox efficiency is defined by a table, the table ID is IEFF
