*ADJUSTL
Data format :
A single line with a minimum of 5 values. The line may be continued using the & character.
XLINI XLFIN NB_STEPS NB_GRP IGR1 IGRi
Status :
Optional
Purpose :
To adjust the length of elements during quasi-static steps (before a dynamic analysis)
Details :
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
XLINI: | Initial length of elements of groups IGR1, , IGRI |
XLFIN: | Ffinal length of elements of groups IGR1, , IGRI |
NB_STEPS | Number of quasi-static steps to modify the apparent weight |
NB_GRP: | Number of involved groups |
IGR1, ... , IGRi: | List of involved groups |
Restrictions :
The selected elements must be previously defined. All elements have the same initial length.
Note
If several ADJUSTL are defined, the number of steps to modify the elements apparent weight is the maximum of the NB_ETAP defined in the different keywords. During all quasi-static steps, the convergence is ensured even if convergence criteria are not respected.
Example :
*ADJUSTL
1 5 20 2 1 2
Elements of groups 1 and 2 have an initial length of 1m. This length will be adjusted to 5m during 20 steps.
