Validation and QA

Both DeepLines FE engine and user-interface are developed under a formal QA system that includes rigorous testing to confirm correct operation. Moreover, the validation of each new feature of DeepLines has always been a major objective of the development team:

The code has been certified by BUREAU VERITAS for the analysis of flexible risers and jumper based on a review of the code and the results of:

  • Comparison with analytical solutions when available,

  • Comparison with model tests,

  • Comparisons with in-site measurements.

Prior to each release of a new version, a set of standard tests are performed and results are compared with previous released version, in order to ensure no regression had occurred. Each new development is carefully tested and compared with available data. A validation report is prepared for each release.
